Ventilation

Air ventilation systems refresh indoor air with clean (filtered), dehumidified and cooled (i.e. air conditioned) air from outside. The temperature difference between the air inside and outside the ducts means condensation on the ducts and unit is one of the most common problems. Proper insulation prevents condensation.

High-quality insulation has a positive impact on the performance of your ventilation systems. It also allows you to maintain the desired indoor climate, prevents energy losses and avoids the need for additional maintenance or premature replacement of your insulation at great expense.

High mechanical strength
Ideally, the insulation material used should have high mechanical strength. This gives valuable systems additional protection against damage. The way our insulation materials are installed, with prefabricated pipe elements and easily deformable sheets, allows even hard-to-reach elements or parts of systems to be insulated.

It goes without saying that the insulation must be sustainably produced and Cradle-to-Cradle certified where specified. The materials must not contain any harmful substances and must meet the strictest fire safety standards.

Thermaflex foam insulation can be used across a wide temperature range and has excellent long-term insulation properties. Thanks to the high µ-value, the insulation is highly impermeable to water vapour, which prevents condensation and corrosion. We offer products that are suitable for use in LEED and BREEAM projects.
