Developed with direct input from users and aligned with evolving maritime standards, ThermaSmart® Marine 4.0 delivers improved flexibility in both sheet and tube formats. These enhancements make handling and installation significantly easier, particularly in tight or complex spaces.
Built for a More Sustainable Future
Sustainability has been placed at the core of this upgrade. ThermaSmart® Marine 4.0 is:
- Free from halogens and harmful substances, including PFAS, ATO, PVC, SCCP, and MCCP,
- Resistant to fungal growth, supporting better hygiene and air quality,
- Features IMO 2010 FTP Code Annex 1 Part 5 fire classification and produces less, non-toxic smoke in the case of fire, consequently protecting passengers, crew, and critical onboard systems,
- Highly durable, contributing to long-term energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact,
- Easier to install, thanks to improved flexibility and with a glueless system option that simplifies application and reduces adhesive usage.
Compared to its predecessor, the product is MED-certified by Lloyd’s Register, ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations.
Updated Packaging and Article Codes
To streamline logistics and storage, all ThermaSmart® Marine 4.0 product variants will now be supplied in a medium roll format, replacing the previous small and large rolls. Additionally, all versions of ThermaSmart® Marine 4.0 will carry new article codes to reflect these updates.
