Some of the recent fruit collected from the previous partnership projects were successfully completed insulation upgrades, helping improve thermal efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and extend the lifespan of insulation systems aboard Princess Cruises’ vessels.

Successful Installations on Diamond Princess and Pacific Adventure
One of the standout projects in our partnership with Tecnavi, was the insulation upgrade aboard the Diamond Princess, completed during dry dock (DD) in Singapore. Known for its challenging weather conditions, the project required meticulous planning and execution.
Following this success, we continued our work on the previously-owned by Princess Cruises Pacific Adventure (renamed as Carnival Adventure in 2025). This project involved replacing almost 2000 meters of provision line insulation within eight days – a remarkable achievement that required seamless coordination between our teams. Thanks to the expertise of our onboard specialists and the trust of Carnival Australia, the project was completed on time, ensuring the cold rooms were back in service with perfect timing.
Energy Efficiency and Sustainability at the Core
Beyond just insulation upgrades, our projects also include dehumidification system installations for cold room deck interspaces. This initiative ensures optimal operating conditions, minimises cooling loss, and enhances energy efficiency. By reducing condensation issues, with the closed cell structure and integrated vapour barrier, we contribute to improved system longevity, helping shipowners optimise operational performance while adhering to sustainability goals.
