Thermaflex Becomes Preferred Partner for Cruise Ship Insulation

At the Dutch maritime networking event at Seatrade Cruise Global 2026 Miami, attended by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Thermaflex and four cruise lines took the next step in their cooperation on advanced marine insulation for cruise vessels.

We share the ambition to further improve energy efficiency, comfort and reliability of HVAC/R systems on board. The Preferred Vendor Intent expresses their intention to strengthen collaboration in the field of advanced insulation solutions for marine applications, both for newbuilds and refits.

With this Intent, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn and Virgin Voyages express their intention to designate Thermaflex as a preferred vendor for relevant marine insulation applications, subject to project requirements, technical approval, commercial alignment and separate written agreements.
