Thermaflex Provides a 1,600 kW District Heating Network in the Azores (EN)

Thermaflex, alongside João Paulino Lda and Acribia, implemented a 1,600 kW district heating network in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira, Azores. The project utilized waste-to-energy resources to create a sustainable and efficient heating solution, minimizing environmental impact. The Flexalen PU system, known for its durability and flexibility, was crucial in navigating the challenging terrain and coastal conditions. The initiative aimed to reduce maintenance needs and enhance energy balance, showcasing the effective use of local renewable energy sources in the Azores.
