Thermaflex Pre-insulated Piping Solutions Enhancing Energy Efficiency at UNESCO World Heritage Stonehenge (FR)

The Stonehenge Visitor Centre project integrated Thermaflex’s Flexalen® 600 pre-insulated polybutene pipes into its geothermal heating system. Designed by Denton Corker Marshall and installed by Spectrum HPM, the solution met strict environmental standards, offering durability, flexibility, and low thermal conductivity. These features minimized heat loss and ensured energy efficiency in a low-carbon environment. The lightweight and easy-to-install system was crucial in avoiding damage to the site’s archaeological remains. This approach highlighted Thermaflex’s commitment to sustainable construction at one of the world’s most iconic heritage locations.
