The Stonehenge Visitor Centre project implemented Flexalen® 600 pre-insulated polybutene pipes from Thermaflex for its geothermal heating network. Architects Denton Corker Marshall and contractors Spectrum HPM chose this solution for its strength, flexibility, and Cradle to Cradle Certified® sustainability. The pipes were installed with minimal environmental disruption, protecting archaeological remains while optimizing energy efficiency through low thermal conductivity. Thermaflex’s system met strict environmental standards and enabled precise integration within the historic landscape, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation.
