Thermaflex Enables Energy Transition in Nieuwe Wipwei, Roosendaal (TR)

The case study details a sustainable heating project in Roosendaal, Netherlands, where Thermaflex, in collaboration with BAM Infra Nederland and local energy providers, utilized the Flexalen pipe system to recycle waste heat from a Suez waste treatment facility. This initiative aimed to establish a fourth-generation district heating network, aligning with the city's sustainability goals by reducing carbon emissions and energy dependency. The project highlights the use of Cradle to Cradle Certified® Flexalen pipes, offering durability and recyclability, and marks a significant step towards a greener urban infrastructure.
