The case study details how Thermaflex, alongside BAM Infra and Roosendaal's municipal energy supplier, implemented a low-temperature district heating network in Nieuwe Wipwei, Roosendaal. Utilizing recycled heat from the Suez waste processing plant, the project aimed to improve energy efficiency, reduce CO2 emissions, and support the city's sustainability goals. The Flexalen piping system, known for its durability and recyclability, was pivotal in achieving these objectives, offering a sustainable heating solution that minimizes maintenance and ensures long-term reliability.
