Thermaflex Enables Energy Transition in Nieuwe Wipwei, Roosendaal (EN)

In Roosendaal, Netherlands, Thermaflex partnered with BAM Infra Nederland to develop a district heating network using waste heat from the Suez waste disposal plant. This initiative, part of the Smart Climate Grid, aims to provide sustainable heating solutions, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance energy efficiency. The project features the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Flexalen piping system, which is durable and recyclable. The network, serving local residents and businesses, marks a significant step in Roosendaal's sustainability goals, demonstrating the potential for global application of waste heat as an alternative to conventional heating.
