Thermaflex Enables Carbon-Free Cooling for Luxury Resort Island Soneva Secret (TR)

Thermaflex, in collaboration with partners, developed a carbon-free cooling network for Soneva Secret in the Maldives' Haa Dhaalu Atoll. The project utilized Flexalen pre-insulated pipe systems, solar energy, and innovative cooling solutions like floating solar fields and ice storage. Initiated in July 2021 and completed in March 2024, the system provides sustainable and cost-effective cooling for villas and central facilities. This pioneering infrastructure sets a new standard for luxury and sustainability, offering a model for future low-carbon, high-efficiency resort developments.
