Thermaflex Enables Carbon-Free Cooling for Luxury Resort Island Soneva Secret (FR)

Thermaflex collaborated with Soneva Secret in the Maldives to develop a pioneering carbon-free cooling system. Utilizing Flexalen pre-insulated piping, solar energy, and ice storage, the project aimed to provide sustainable and efficient cooling for the resort's villas and facilities. The initiative, completed between July 2021 and March 2024, involved strategic partnerships with XCO2, DAIKIN, and YONSAN Engineering. This innovative approach not only reduced carbon emissions but also set a new standard for sustainable luxury resorts, emphasizing environmental responsibility and guest comfort.
