Thermaflex Enables Carbon-Free Cooling for Luxury Resort Island Soneva Secret (ES)

Thermaflex, in collaboration with XCO2, DAIKIN, and YONSAN Engineering, developed a sustainable cooling system for Soneva Secret in the Maldives. The project, completed in March 2024, utilized solar energy, Flexalen pre-insulated pipes, and ice storage to create a carbon-free cooling network. This innovative system, designed for the remote island of Haa Dhaalu, aimed to provide continuous comfort while reducing operational costs and environmental impact. The project highlights the integration of solar energy with advanced cooling technology, setting a new standard for sustainable luxury resorts.
