Thermaflex Delivers 1,600 kW District Heating Network in the Azores (EN)

Thermaflex successfully delivered a 1,600 kW district heating network in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira, Azores. The project aimed to utilize waste heat from local renewable sources, providing a sustainable and efficient heating solution while minimizing environmental impact. The network was constructed using Flexalen pipes, known for their durability and flexibility, ensuring a long service life with minimal maintenance. This initiative significantly contributes to the Azores' energy balance and sustainability by reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering the carbon footprint.
