Keeping Cool the Amager Bank HQ in Copenhagen (EN)

This case study explores the innovative cooling system installed at the Amager Bank headquarters in Copenhagen. Situated on Kongens Nytorv square, the project utilized seawater from the harbor for cooling, implemented by Copenhagen Energy and Bodrum VVS. The system featured Flexalen 600 pipes, marking the first use of polybutene pipes for main line connections by Copenhagen Energy. The project aimed to efficiently cool the bank's server room, ensuring smooth operations.
