The smooth protective skin makes ThermaCompact the ideal insulation for pipes built into walls and floors, where there is a high risk of damage from mortar and sharp materials etc. This insulation for heating and sanitary pipes can be applied either before installation or when the pipe is already installed.
Advantages of polyethylene insulation
Polyethylene (PE) insulation material is very strong and resistant to cracking and pressure. Thanks to its closed cell structure, Thermaflex foam insulation absorbs almost no moisture, even when the surface structure is damaged. PE foam also absorbs shocks.
Structure-borne sound insulation
Indoor pipes, downpipes, drainage and sewage pipes and rainwater runoff can cause invasive noise. By insulating pipes or ducts with ThermaCompact TF insulation, such noise is greatly reduced.
