Flexalen® pre-insulated pipes
Flexalen® PU pre-insulated pipe consists of:
- Service pipe made of polybutene (PB-1): a flexible polyolefin material for fast and reliable installation and a guaranteed service life. It is best in class in terms of pressure and temperature resistance.
- Bonded continuous foamed polyurethane (PUR) insulation with excellent insulation values.
- Corrugated Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) casing pipe for coiled tubing, for maximum flexibility and protection against external damage.
Flexalen® PU SL pre-insulated pipe consists of:
- Service pipe made of polybutene (PB-1): a flexible polyolefin material for fast and reliable installation and a guaranteed service life. It is best in class in terms of pressure and temperature resistance.
- Bonded polyurethane (PUR) insulation with excellent insulation values.
- Smooth High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) casing pipe for straight pipes, to protect against external damage.
Flexalen® PU, the highest insulation class for main pipelines, can easily be combined with Flexalen® 600, the most flexible house connection. It is safe and reliable thanks to the homogeneous welding and high pressure capacity of 8 bar at 95 °C.

Flexalen® PU, flexible pre-insulated pipes, are available as single-pipe (DN20 to DN80) and double-pipe systems (DN20 to DN65) in coils.
Flexalen® PU SL semi-flexible pre-insulated sticks are available up to DN300 and in lengths of 11.8 m or 5.8 m.
