From Customer to Leader: Emmanuel’s Journey at Thermaflex and His Commitment to Sustainable Innovation
How did you start your career at Thermaflex?
I started at Thermaflex France in 2015. Before that, I worked for five years in an engineering company and a construction company, where I discovered Thermaflex—because I was a Thermaflex customer! I already knew part of the team so I quickly felt integrated. Having worked in an engineering company and managed construction sites before is a real advantage, because I understand the challenges our customers are facing.
How has your role at Thermaflex evolved over the years?
I joined Thermaflex to manage and develop projects in the Paris region. A few years later, I became responsible for the north of France region and the Normandy region. At the beginning of 2024, I was promoted to sales manager for France, responsible for commercial development at national level with a team of five account managers.
What do you think sets Thermaflex apart from other companies in the industry?
For more than 40 years, Thermaflex has been a leader in pre-insulated pipes. Thermaflex has always aimed to work upstream of projects, from the design phase with engineering companies. To achieve this, we leverage the experience of our technical department equipped with extensive skills in designing heating and cooling networks. Above all, we strive to provide a customized solution to our customers!

What do you love most about this job?
I love this job because every workday is different, there is enough challenges and development for me even after 9 years at Thermaflex!
Between meetings with design engineers and site visits, I meet many professionals in the industry and discuss how to develop the ideal technical solutions. I also work closely with our team based in the south of France, they carry out studies on our projects and liaise with our factory in Waalwijk, Netherlands for ordering and delivery. I love the teamwork not only within Thermaflex but also in the industry!
What are the key achievements you've accomplished since joining Thermaflex?
At Thermaflex, we provide custom insulated piping solutions for various applications, such as agricultural biogas, district heating and cooling networks, residential buildings, and non-residential buildings such as hospitals and schools. Over the past 9 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several large-scale projects, some involving more than 12 km of Flexalen pipes and over 700 welds! We have been able to help our customers save energy and decarbonize their activities. It’s a challenge for all Thermaflex teams to succeed in large projects like this, from design to logistics, including the manufacturing of our pre-insulated pipes, T-piece, and elbows. I’m proud to have achieved these together with our team.
