During the two-day installation training, the installers learnt how to correctly install and weld our Flexalen® pre-insulated pipes and attended a factory tour.
With this training, we ensured that the future heating and cooling network in the Port of Urk and the future residential area will be correctly implemented, guaranteeing long-lasting results.
It’s another local project that takes a step towards more sustainable, gas-free practices. With this network, the municipality of Urk aims to reuse energy, known as waste heat, from fish processing companies to deliver heat to houses and businesses.
Moreover, the chilled water can be reused by the fish processing companies to run cooling and freezing machines more efficiently.
