Park Hyatt in Goa
Park Hyatt Goa is uniquely nestled along the pristine Arrosim beach. Its 45 acres of landscaped gardens, with its glimmering waterways and lagoons, make for an exceptional experience. So as a broker of untainted comfort, Park Hyatt and Thermaflex faced the renovation challenge head-on to maximize comfort for its guests at minimal energy and environmental cost

A suitable, durable solution for the hotel’s supply of domestic hot and cold water as well as for indoor air-conditioning indoors was found. The project was realized in 3 stages. A total of 27 km of Flexalen 600 pre-insulated pipes were chosen for both indoor and outdoor domestic hot and cold water. An additional 14 km of ThermaSmart PRO was provided for the chilled water lines and air-conditioning. The jointly planned project received considerable technical support from Thermaflex. The project owners were pleased by the special support provided by the installation team in India, directly at the construction site.
Goals
To be an interesting and excellent destination to guests from all over the world, the hotel Park Hyatt Goa strives to keep up the highest guest satisfaction. Because of the hot and humid climate, energy is a critical factor.
The focus of this renovation process was mainly on air-conditioning to be able to ease the hot Indian weather for guests. In addition, the supply of the domestic hot, cold and chilled water was effectively tackled, and a reliable solution secured. The project was planned in 3 stages to ensure the lowest disturbance to guests and surroundings.
Results
The quick and easy installation with minimum disturbance to guests and the existing environment were highly appreciated by our stakeholders. Our future-proof and environmentally friendly materials were a critical factor for Park Hyatt, whose energy bill has proved substantially lower too.
