The Insulation Division focusses on developing, promoting and insulation products and solutions (thermal, protection, etc.) to a wide range of sectors and industries:

– ThermaSmart Pro Solutions excel in insulating equipment and systems with cryogenic temperature ranges.

– TS Marine Solutions can be found on board most major cruise vessels.

– We developed customized solutions for OEM’s, based on technical engineered foams, such as heat pumps connection sets, in-factory pre-insulations kits, protection profiles, laminated tube / sheet prefabricated components.

The Flexalen division supplies flexible pre-insulated piping systems widely used in local / district heating and cooling networks across the globe as well as air ventilation piping system under the brand name TQ-Air.

We can support and advise clients from the early stages of a project, support the engineers, offer training to installers and monitor actual performance. We are proud when our clients are satisfied with our support and co-operation to finish a project successfully.

The challenge

Thermaflex is growing and there is a lot of interest in our Insulation Solutions from the Scandinavian market. To accelerate the development the Thermaflex Insulation Division, we are looking for a sales representative who, with the support of technical support teams can develop the markets in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The role

The focus of sales representative is business development – engaging with prospect and new clients, while maintaining and building the relationship with existing clients.

You will promote and sell the Thermaflex Insulation Solution portfolio to the following markets:

– OEM clients : insulation solution (thermal, protection, etc.). The key here is to understand the needs and wants of the client so that we can design and develop a foam solution which fits the technical requirements.

– Maritime Industries:  in this market it is all about creating awareness with maritime engineering companies, shipowners and shipbuilders about ThermaSmart Marine Solutions and ultimately get specified for both newbuilding and refurbishment projects.

– Our standard ThermaSmart Insulation product portfolio is sold through the professional distribution channels and/or directly to installers.

– Gap sealing solutions (Thermarods)– actively promote and develop the segment of sealants manufacturers to promote our solutions.

Summarising the job tasks:

  • Create, propose and implement successful sales strategies per product / market segment.
  • Identify, approach and develop prospects and convert them to new customers.
  • Active maintenance and development of existing customers
  • Build strong relationships with relevant leading engineers and installers.
  • Respond to customer engagement and respond rapidly to customer enquiries.
  • Handling client requests and arranging support from the central support teams to timely respond with a solution and quotation.
  • Developing a strong working relationship with the technical and operational support teams and specialists.
  • Sales forecasting, general sales administration, and activity management via company CRM.

It is a consultative specification sales process including booking of meetings, investigation of needs, presenting solutions, consulting regarding various solutions, matching needs, preparation of proposals, negotiations and closing deals!

Relationship building is paramount for long term customer success. The sales consultants must become well-known, so that Thermaflex is top-of-mind, when the need arises.

Your profile

Residence: Copenhagen or Malmö

Education:
Not a requirement. Nevertheless, you must be able to interact effectively with prospects and clients who may have a university education, are self-educated craftsmen and/or are specialists in their field.

Experience:       

  • We are looking for a person with 5-10 years’ experience with selling solutions to OEMs and/or prescribed specification sales.
  • The person is motivated for visiting customers – both new and existing customers. New business – and relationship oriented with good account management experience.
  • Knowledge of the role of the different players: owner/builder, architects, engineers, installers etc.; Knows how/where/when new projects arise and how to influence them, so your solutions can be prioritized and prescribed in the tenders.
  • As a senior sales representative you have a strong track record in selling solutions.

Skills:

  • Skilled in talking about the customer’s business, type of projects, challenges and possibilities – and can spot possibilities, where Thermaflex solutions can help.
  • Know how to market solutions towards engineers, installers and other stakeholders with the aim of getting our solutions pre-scribed / specified.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • You have good active listening skills
  • You have the skills to close a deal / sale.
  • Next to your mother tongue, you are fluent in communicating in English, both in writing and speaking.
  • A good level of computer skills is essential – MS office and CRM tools.
